Okay, so I'm cheating a little. I didn't take this today, but it's one of my favorites.
Being promoted to the position of 'Grandparents'!
2011 - will be an AWESOME year for the Nelson/Lynn family. Our beautiful daughter and son-in-law are blessing us with our first grandchild - a boy. Christopher Aiden Lynn is due to arrive June 30 (the same date his Mama was due! How cool is that?)

Hi Debbie! Nice picture! I can see why it's one of your favorites.
It's not cheating to use a picture you didn't take today. Just use whatever you have that features the sky.
OH good! I'm learning as I go! Thanks, Dot!
I can't remember where you live!
The kumquat bush was at my mother's in Baldwin County, Al. Many years ago they grew lots of satsumas there but they had a really hard freeze one year that killed many of the trees. You still see a few but not in groves like there were before the freeze (info came from my mother). I was surprised to hear you mention satsumas since not many know what they are.
This is a great picture. It looks like your in the clouds taking it. I can see why its one of your favorites.
I like it a lot, too. it reminds me of dramatizations of the creation of the universe because of the swirling.
Oh wow! That looks like a pathway to heaven! Beautiful.
Ooh, I agree with Mike - it does look like a pathway to Heaven!
Thank you, all. Actually, I was up in the clouds when I took it. It was taken during a thunderstorm, somewhere over Louisiana or Mississippi, through the window of the airplane I was flying in. I love to fly! I'm the goofball sitting in the window seat with my camera! Ha!
no wonder it is a favourite, it is great, and so is the red cloud one from the following monday!
