More Christmas Stuff
As compared to the 2007 edition:
Bascially, Will's hair is less volumnous, otherwise, not a lot of significant change. RJ is even wearing the same Snoopy Christmas T-Shirt. My sister is so into Snoopy! LOL!
Here's the obligatory 'Youngest Grandkid's Fantasy' for 2008:
As you can see, I was not the one with his 'focus'.
As compared with same said pose from 2007:
My shot from last year was much better...It's always nice when your subject is looking at you! ;-)
Christmas Craziness
This is my husband - my hero - and my sister...my best friend.
This is my Dad. He is also my hero.
Actually, this was a game we played at a party at church. Each table had to race to blow up balloons, then fill each leg of a pair of panty hose. The end result was crazy looking reindeer antlers that must be place on a team member's head. The first team to accomplish this highly challenging feat, was the winner! We were laughing so hard at everyone, we almost never got calmed back down to move on to the next game!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...
My Cracker Barrel Tree! We found a bunch of cute ornaments at Cracker Barrel...that's mostly what's on here. We will add some of the family favorites, also, but I went the 'Designer Tree' direction this year.

The Moon and...Stars???
I took these Monday night, thinking it was the moon and just two bright little stars! On the weather last night, John Gaughn talked about them and explained what they were...Planets! The one on the left is Venus and the one on the right is Jupiter. How cool is that! If only my lens was longer! Oh well, it's pretty amazing!

Barrack Obama - A Real Patriot?
Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stand during the national anthem.Barack Hussein Obama's photo (that's his real name).....the article said he REFUSED TO NOT ONLY PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, BUT REFUSED TO SAY THE PLEDGE.....how in the world can a man like this expect to be our next Commander-in-Chief? Well, how the in the world can the American people be so blinded by this mans WORDS?
Don't be ignorant people! If this man gets into office, our life as we know it will never be the same. Government should be there to protect its citizens - not control their lives!
If Barrack Obama does not love our country enough to even willingly and publicly show his allegiance and loyalty to the United States of America, he is definitely not fit to run it!

Unity of Faith
This is the group that made the recording. From left to right: Jennifer, Deborah, Carla, Emiley, Me, Dee. When the group first formed, it was Carla, Jennifer, Dee and myself. We later added Deborah & Emiley, so that we had 2 on each part.
When Jennifer, Deborah, and Emiley moved away, we were joined by
Elise, Donna & Melissa (back row)
Last year, Carla and Elise moved away, and Erin D. and Erin L. joined us.So here we are today, from left to right:
Donna, Erin D., Erin L., Melissa, Me, Dee
(The short one is Melissa's daughter, she was helping us warm up!)

An amazing experience...
This was during the rehearsal for the inaugural concert of the Jacksonville Praise Orchestra. These are musicians from 12 different churches around town whose orchestra directors got together to form the Jacksonville Instrumental Directors Association. There will be 2 or 3 concerts a year. The next one will be held sometime the first quarter of next year.
For more photos of the actual concert visit: Jacksonville Praise Orchestra
Mr. Kirkland (lower right) patiently waiting on me to begin tuning up the orchestra....I think they call that "A Dollar waiting on a Dime"! Ha!

Tropical Storm Fay
There is another house next to this one that has a bulkhead. Normally you see about 3 to 4 feet of it above the level of the water. Look at it now!
Now you see it....
Now you don't!
