Being promoted to the position of 'Grandparents'!

2011 - will be an AWESOME year for the Nelson/Lynn family. Our beautiful daughter and son-in-law are blessing us with our first grandchild - a boy. Christopher Aiden Lynn is due to arrive June 30 (the same date his Mama was due! How cool is that?)

Tropical Storm Fay

Our home is located on a retention pond. I was amazed at the amount of water this storm has dropped on our area. Here's a little visual comparison for you!

There is another house next to this one that has a bulkhead. Normally you see about 3 to 4 feet of it above the level of the water. Look at it now!

Now you see it....

Now you don't!

Looks like you live on a big lake instead of a retention pond. Watch out for those creatures, they will be coming out. All is good at my house, just twigs, branches and other stuff from the trees. It's amazing, I'm not that far from Sharon and we got a lot of rain and wind. She must of been in the eye! hehe!
