Here's my exciting post for today! Got a new washer/dryer. So far...so good. They look sort of 'retro'...don't you think?

KBBC Ladie's Breakfast...Refresh & Renew!

Our women's ministry hosted a breakfast this morning...had a great turn out!

Rebecca Westbrook was our guest musician...all I can say is WOW! What a talented and gifted lady!

Barbara Gobbs came in from Phoenix to speak. Again...what a gifted lady with a heart for women's ministry.

Progress!

Okay, I didn't have one yesterday, but I do today! I finished the first two rounds of this most aggressive project I got myself into.

An Aggressive Undertaking...

I learned how to crochet years ago from Mrs. Colby. She was the childcare worker at our church who looked after us during choir practice on Wednesday nights. She taught me how to do granny squares. Well, this ain't made out of no granny squares...

So, here's the ingredients for the plan....

Anybody got any idea what all this means???? :-) I'm talking about the INSTRUCTIONS in the book in the picture above! No...I'm NOT going to be a Granny any time soon. (I"ll be 'YaYa' not Granny anyway...just for the record.)

But if you really prefer Butt Surfing, there's always a slope somewhere!

Snow tubing...one step up from butt surfing!

They say that the ski lift is a lot easier than walking back up the slope. The jury is still out on that one!

We participated in the sport of Alpine Butt Surfing while we were there! We figured since we were on our butts anyway...what the hey!

Most beginners suffer from this common affliction....Knock-knee Beginners Butt!

...but Tori didn't seem to have too much trouble.

Learning to ski!

Staying on your feet and off your butt proved to be a challenge...at least at first.

Let's back up to the beginning of January - SKI TRIP!

We started off the year with a VERY FUN trip to Snowshoe - our first ski trip!

Not a lot of snow to be found on the way...but...
